Meri Ladayi - Part 1

Writing in Hindi has always been very appealing to me.

Words and emotions just flow like an overflowing river when I write in Hindi.

This blog entry, I am writing in Hindi, but not using Hindi as script to write this time.

I believe many of you can relate to this, as self battle is the toughest battle to fight.
We may gather courage to fight with anyone and everyone in this world,
but when it comes to fight with oneself, its toughest.

"Aaj meri khud se ladayi thi,
Meri aankhon ne ye baat jatayi thi,

Jeet haar ka toh sawal nai hai,
Aankhon mein khushi ke aansu toh nai,

Jeet ho toh bas pyaar ka inaam ho,
Haar ho toh bas apno ka saath ho,

Pyaar aur apne saath rahe toh khud se bhi ladayi jeet jaungi,
Aankhon mein aansu bhale aaye is baar khushi ke le aaungi...."

For the purpose of those followers who don’t follow Hindi, or don’t understand it,
I have also written the English Translation for you:

Translation :
------------------
Today I had a battle with myself,
My eyes expressed that to me,

The question is not whether I win or loose,
My eyes aren't filled with tears of joy,

If I win, let love be my prize,
If I lose, let all my loved ones be with me,

If Love & Loved ones are with me, I can win all battles of life,
Then even if my eyes have tears, the tears will be of joy.
