I am back with something new this time. This is going to be my first film based blog write up. I hope you will enjoy this one too.

You must have heard of the term, “ Kaccha Limbu” quite often during your childhood especially while playing outdoor games.

Kaccha Limbu/ Raw Lemon

Kachha Limbu literally would be translated as "Raw Lemon"

"Kaccha Limbu" as a term refers to a kid who is too weak or too young to play a game.

I remember that as a child whenever we used to play any outdoor game, I liked playing as a "Kaccha Limbu". Why? Because that would just make me feel safe. I will not be thrown out of the game even if I don’t play well. That’s the benefit of being Kaccha Limbu in games.

Pakka Limbu\ Lemon

As you grow older, you are no longer allowed to be a Kaccha Limbu. No exemptions and benefits are given and everyone has to play the game, face the challenge, and get ready to accept failure or victory of the game & face everything on their own.

I feel that if Kaccha Limbu concept had not been there at all, may be one would have learnt to face challenges early, You will not always have someone to protect you. Better to be a Pakka Limbu from the beginning.

Recently I saw this Marathi Movie named "Kaccha Limbu" which released last month.

What an amazing movie it is!

Whoever likes to see genuine Cinema would love this movie for sure. It’s a classic master piece movie.

This movie is mostly 99% Black & White movie and only 1% of the movie is in Color.

If you haven’t seen the movie then you must be wondering why is the movie in Black & White? Who makes Black & White movies nowadays?

And if you have seen the movie, then I hope you know why it is so!

The method of presenting the movie, projects the message of the movie in such a beautiful way which is never done before in Cinema.

When you are happy in life, life is colorful and everything around you is beautiful like the joy colors give to eyes.

And when you are not happy with life or any situation in life, life looks colorless and the struggle makes your life canvas dull and removes the joy of colors.

Also this movie came up with a strong message that we all somewhere want to be a Kaccha Limbu when we face life’s struggles, challenges and situations that are tough to handle. We want someone to handle things for us, someone to protect us, may be someone to just do something with a magic wand and remove the problems, or some support system that supports us while facing the challenge.

But then we suddenly realize that we are grown ups and not always we will not have someone to support us. We have to be a Pakka Limbu, take charge of life and face some situations all alone. That's the way life teaches us to be strong, to let go, to accept and to live.

There are a lot of things we can't do anything about, but what we can always do is control our attitude towards life and all its problems and challenges, and choose to be happy & at peace. If we can do this then life will be colorful for us and this is the way Kaccha Limbu can be Pakka Limbu and play the game of life to the best of one's strength. Even though life’s challenges may scare you, but still try to be brave. Even though you may want to be Kaccha Limbu try and be Pakka Limbu. Try to enjoy everything. Every small thing and every small moment in life so that life always has different shades and colors but never only black and white.

For every new challenge we face in life, initially we shall always be Kaccha Limbu, but facing the challenges bravely and never giving up attitude will only make us Pakka Limbu.

Remember to keep child inside you be always alive in this process of growth and let your life canvas filled with colors of joy and evolution.

Every Kaccha Limbu will be Pakka Limbu someday for sure. This change is inevitable. This growth is bound to happen. So enjoy the growth and evolution life journey
