Gattu/ Sattu is the new Rahul/ Raj

Hola people,

Did you read my last blog? Hope you liked it.

Remember I mentioned next blog is going to be my favorite and really really super excited to share this one.

Here I come again with a movie/ film blog.

This time not particularly about a movie but about an actor.

Do you know who is the latest Bollywood Heartthrob?

Sochiye.... Sochiye.....

Pata nahi kitne log inka naam guess karenge

Well, it's none other than “Rajkummar Rao”

Surprised?

Hope not and in case anyone of you is surprised, then my blog will answer you.

No, I am not going to talk about his Bollywood Journey.

This year,i.e, in 2017  till now 4 of his movies have released for main stream cinema and 1 movie is gonna release tomorrow. I have seen all his 4 movies. I am hoping to see tomorrow' release first day first show. I have not only loved all the movies but also I have loved his performances.

Shaurya” from “Trapped

Gattu” from “Behan hogi teri

Pritam Vidrohi” from “Bareilly Ki Barfi “

“Nutan Kumar / Newton“ from “Newton”

And I am eagerly waiting to meet "Satyendra aka Sattu" from "Shaadi Mein Jaroor Aana"

Let me describe little bit of Rajkummar’ character in all the movies.

Shaurya from Trapped is a simple boy next door kind of guy who falls in love with a girl who is already engaged to someone is soon getting married. Well this kind of plots we have seen in many Bollywood movies. What is different here is that girl is ready to marry Shaurya provided he can arrange a flat on rent for them. Shaurya who was staying in bachelor pad, immediately on urgent basis starts hunting for a flat on rent. Now this is what I call is realistic love in films which any girl could love to relate to in real life.

Matlab pyaar pane ke liye ghar kiraye pe lena, sache wale pyaar ki nishani hai ji.

I am not going to get much into movie story details. I am just focusing on characters played by Rajkummar Rao and how realistic they are and how well he has acted those characters and thats why they are so relatable in real life that any girl would love to have such boyfriend/ love partner in life.

When they are shown dating romance simply means travelling in local train in general compartment together, listening to music by sharing headphones and cherishing simple food “Pav Bhaji” together. This kind of dating is so much relatable to we common people. When his hunt for rental flat ends, he plans to marry his girl friend and so simply and beautifully he decorates the room by simply decorating by the word “Welcome” sign on the wall.

So beautifully it expresses "Romance doesn't need to be expensive, it just needs to be sentimental and heart felt"

Shiv Nautiyal aka Gattu in Behen Hogi Teri is in love with his neighborhood girl and who happens to be his childhood’s crush too. Based on the concept that neighborhood girls should be treated as own sister.

This actually reminded me of school days when we used to say “All Indians and my brothers and sisters” and I am sure everyone somewhere in mind said except one ;) kyuki bas ek sanam chahiye aashiqui ke liye, sab toh behen ya bhai nai ho sakte na :P

When I saw this movie’ trailer, it had this dialogue “Aap ek launda bata do hume duniya mein, ek launda … jisne ladki ko dekh ke pehli baari mein bol diya ho ki matlab … kya ladki hai na… kaash yeh meri behen hoti ”

This dialogue made so powerful impact that I decided then and there itself, I am gonna surely watch this movie and I watched it. Phir kya pyaar hogaya Gattu aka Rajkummar Rao se. How well he has played role of a guy who is scared to express his love and about his love to his family and neighbors and yet bravely he manages everything so well to convince everyone in the end after all mess.

There is this scene which surely not a miss in movie where Gattu and his friend are talli and are discussing  how in every movie lover boy name “Rahul” who gets heroine.

This made me actually think too, we all got so fascinated with Rahul or Raj as lover boy image, now why not Gattu ;)

Pritam Vidrohi” from “Bareilly Ki Barfi “ although not a hero wala main lead but RajKummar surely won people’ hearts as Vidrohi ji. Heroine is looking for Pritam Vidrohi author of book Bareilly ki Barfi, which is actually not written by Pritam Vidrohi.

Is movie ka ek dialogue hi puri movie ki shaan ban gaya “Agar shakal dekh ke ladkiyaan shaadi karti na… toh Hindustan mein aadhe ladke kanware hote”
Which is so true! Kitni sacchi baat hai. Ekdum sa connection mil jata hai Vidrohi ji se. If you see the movie you would know how much impact he has put and that anyone will actually fall for such simple and loyal person. Realistic roles and realistic performance has made him actually rule so many hearts.

Finally the most popular due to the Oscars  Nutan Kumar akka Newton from Newton. Here too not discussing much the movie but the character Newton.

In the beginning of the movie, Newton is shown rejecting a marriage proposal as the girl is under age and taking his stand. How beautifully this scene is shown and who would not like a life partner who stands stand for something that is right and stands for it even if no else is with him.

If you could see from my eyes I can just see romance in every character that Rajkummar has played.

Well wait, but I guess his most romantic role among all his 2017 releases will be hitting the theater this Friday, i.e, tomorrow.

Yes I am talking about Shaadi mein Zaroor Aana.

Have you seen the movie trailer? Trailer se hi movie itni romantic lag rahi hai.

The pure romance shown by sharing some cup of coffee, I mean just love this romancing RR. Cant wait to see it.

Ye Shahrukh Mishra toh hit lag rahe hain.

Oh my goodness! I already feel like I am in love with Sattu and I wish I was Aarti in movie instead of Kriti. Hehe....

P.S. Don't you guys think comparing the photo posters of the movie I am looking better with Rajkummar  ;)

Bas mujhe itna hi kehna hai ki

"Gattu/ Sattu is the new  Rahul/ Raj" ;)

I gonna see it asap if not first day first show. What about you guys?

Do comment below your review of the movie and about this blog and also what would you like to read next.

Have a great weekend guys!
